Easy maintenance
The regular replacement of the easily accessible pre-filter ensures that it is rarely necessary to clean the rest of the filter. The large filter volume provides a large biological filter capacity through several filter layers. The bio-filter balls that are included have a distinctive cross-section to increase the self-cleaning effect.
Safe and energy-efficient
With a power consumption of only 4W, the Cristalprofi e402 provides excellent energy savings. With unaltered water circulation, the device consumes 31% less power than comparable earlier models. The patented hose connection block with safety valve prevents the outflow of water when the filter is disconnected. The JBL CristalProfi has been approved by the TÜV.
Compared to the previous model, the new JBL CristalProfi e 401's upper filter basket has been redesigned in a more efficient form. The smaller pre-filter mats in the filter basket have been replaced with a filter mat double the size of the pre-filter. As a result, the filter clogs up less fast, even with very heavy pollution, and consequently, the pre-filter needs to be cleaned less often.
