With the Ada Amazonia aquasoil ver.2 you have all the advantages of the ''standard'' Amazonia soil, but with less organic substances. This ensures that algae growth is slowed down during the start-up phase. This prevents problems during the start-up phase and the start-up will be ''more quiet''. That makes this soil ideal for a novice aquarist. The color of this grain is inspired by the coloring of the Amazon and is the same as the ordinary Amazon soil.
Due to the active ingredients of this Ada Amazonia soil ver.2, kH is effectively bound from the water, which ensures that the pH can stabilize at a value of +- 6.0 (depending on the water used). This is the ideal pH value for raising shrimp that like a lower pH. This is also the best pH value for aquarium plants. The grain size is between 2 and 5 millimeters, which ensures that many bacteria can live in the soil. These granules therefore contribute to an optimal biological balance in the aquarium. Also ideal to use in combination with a bottom filter! This is a hard grain that retains its round shape for a very long time in the aquarium. Ada Amazonia soil ver.2 is also very suitable for (shrimp) aquariums.
