Amazonia soil from Ada is an active aquasoil soil that is composed of organic material, which contains the properties to lower the pH and kH of the water. The color of this grain is inspired by the coloring of the Amazon. This allows you to easily imitate the natural environment of the Amazon with this soil.
Due to the active ingredients of this Amazonia soil, the kH is effectively bound from the water, which ensures that the pH can stabilize at a value of +- 6.0 (depending on the water used). This is the ideal pH value for raising shrimp that like a lower pH. The grain size is between 2 and 5 millimeters, which ensures that many bacteria can live in the soil.
These granules therefore contribute to an optimal biological balance in the aquarium. Also ideal to use in combination with a bottom filter! This is a hard grain that retains its round shape for a very long time in the aquarium.

However, the Amazonia ver.2 is provided with fewer organic substances, which makes the start-up phase easier and reduces the risk of algae. The pH / kH lowering effect is the same compared to Amazonia. This makes Amazonia ver.2 also suitable for (shrimp) aquariums with mosses.
Instructions
¬Do not wash the soil before use.
¬ Slowly add the water to the aquarium.
Quantity
30 cm aquarium (12 l) need about 3 liters of soil.
45 cm aquarium (35 l) need about 6-8 liters of soil.
60 cm aquarium (57 l) need about 8-11 liters of soil.
90 cm aquarium (155 l) need about 24-32 liters of soil.
